
Christine Mager Wevik Signing Her New Book & “Someone Knows,” Sat., Oct. 14, noon-2pm

South Dakota author Christine Mager Wevik will be speaking and signing her newest book, along with her previous publication, “Someone Knows: Highlighting South Dakota’s Cold Cases,” Saturday, Oct. 14, noon-2 p.m., at DDR Books in Downtown Watertown.
Wevik is the author of four books. Her first, “It’s Only Hair,” is a humorous self-help book about living with hair loss. Her novels, “Vacant Eyes” and “Borrowed Memories,” are award-winning paranormal mysteries, and “Someone Knows” highlights 52 unsolved death and missing-persons cases in South Dakota. She is also published in C. Hope Clark’s nationally recognized newsletter for writers, “FundsforWriters,” as well as in “The Link,” a quarterly magazine published by the American Hair Loss Council.
Christine is a past and 2023 presenter for South Dakota’s Festival of Books. Her most recent novel, “Borrowed Memories,” earned her the Silver Falchion Best Supernatural and Silver Falchion Best Book of the Year at the 2021 Killer Nashville conference in Nashville, TN. She is a mother of four and grandmother of four, and lives with her husband, Douglas, in southeastern South Dakota.
